A collection of rants and other musings in which we tear apart the fabric of society.

I am a women. I am strong, wise, beautiful, and I am EQUAL TO MEN. Do not treat me like an object. My worth is not in if I am a perfect ten or if I’m good in bed or if I’m going to be a good and loyal wife. I can be the fucking president and still be gorgeous. My dreams are mine and mine only. If I have sex the same amount of times just like a man next to me does not make me less than him. It does not make me a slut. WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND WE ARE ALL EQUAL.

Still I rise

tessmunster:

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,

“I am excited to see a generation of women who will raise their boys to be good rather than their girls to be scared.”

fuck racism too

A man came to our class once,
he claimed to be a fair judge
with daughters he loved.

He asked a question to the class:
“When should a minor be tried
as an adult?”
and students began raising their hand

“murder”
he wrote it up on the board.

“robbery”
he wrote it up on the board.

I said, “Rape”
and he paused, he asked
for clarification

“You mean violent rape?”

“no I mean rape.
It is all the same.”

he looked to a boy
who said “rape only if
he used a weapon and
hurt her.”

and I said, “rape is rape,
whether his weapon is a knife,
drugs, or guilt. She said no.”

he shook his head,
and wrote
“Violent rape” on the board
anyways.

I never understood,
because you can kill somebody
quietly and peacefully with drugs,
or with guns and knives or cars;
but nobody cares if the murder was “violent”

it was still murder.

“Women’s sexuality is something that I’m obsessed with. I think it’s weird that teenage girls know more about giving blow jobs than they do about masturbation. It makes me sick to my stomach that so many young girls think sex is just about a guy finishing.”
